Make My LA is an independent editorial morning portal for people who live in Los Angeles. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Los Angeles or MyLA311.
No accounts
There is no login and there are no user accounts. Hearts, saves and dismissed cards stay in this browser using localStorage. They are not sent to us and we do not build a profile of you.
Where the content comes from
We fetch public weather from Open-Meteo, public sports schedules from ESPN, and public event listings. Some civic items are standing calendar rules tied to real venues — farmers markets, museum hours, park programming. If a live source fails, we show editorial fallback so the brief still reads.
Data we do not do
No sale of personal data. No ads in v1. No push notifications.
